About Us
We are dedicated to bridging the gap between engineering expertise and community needs, fostering sustainable development worldwide.
Hi, my name is Nicolás.
Founder & Director, CHE Volunteering
I founded CHE - Community & Humanitarian Engineering in 2025 to connect volunteers with community-led projects across Argentina.
Inspired by the work of Engineering Without Borders Argentina, CHE helps participants understand how technical solutions emerge through collaboration with the communities they serve. My goal is simple: to create meaningful learning experiences while contributing to lasting social impact.
Today, CHE welcomes a small, carefully selected cohort of volunteers each year - people who want to do more than just build things. People who want to understand why they build, for whom and what difference it makes.

Engineering Without Borders Argentina
We deliver our programme in collaboration with EWB-Argentina (Ingeniería Sin Fronteras Argentina) — an interdisciplinary civil association working for the local development of communities in vulnerable situations across urban and rural areas. Together, we connect international volunteers with meaningful, community-led engineering projects on the ground.
